Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Real Estate Investments team. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, this role will contribute to the evaluation, execution, and management of real estate investments across a diverse range of property types and strategies. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, collaborative, and eager to grow within a mission-driven firm that values people, place, and purpose.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the underwriting and due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial modeling, market research, site visits, and document review.
• Perform financial analysis and sensitivity modeling using Excel and Argus to evaluate investment decisions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
• Assist in drafting investment memorandums and presentations.
• Support transaction execution by coordinating with brokers, lenders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with investor reporting and fundraising efforts, including performance analysis and preparation of presentation materials.
• Stay current on market trends, ESG initiatives, proptech developments, and other industry factors influencing investment decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of real estate agreements (leases, purchase and sale agreements, management and development agreements, loan documents).
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; Argus experience preferred.
• Knowledge of key real estate and finance concepts such as NOI, cash flow returns, IRR, cap rates, valuations, and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations and communicate investment arguments clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
